BPA Estrogens Are Everywhere

The following article is complements of Dr Al Sears.

For decades, I’ve been warning you about the dangers of xenoestrogens that mimic estrogen in your body.

I call them “alien” estrogens and they’re everywhere. In fact, they’ve permeated almost everything you eat, drink and touch.

And one of the worst of these alien estrogens is bisphenol A, or BPA.

Over the last few years, consumers caught on to the dangers of BPA and began demanding that manufacturers remove it from products.

And a lot of companies bowed down to the pressure.

Soon, they started advertising that their plastic bottles, aluminum cans and food packaging were “BPA-Free.”

But don’t be fooled…

A study of 450 BPA-free products found that almost ALL of them leached a variety of chemicals that act just like estrogen.1

You see, manufacturers are simply substituting other bisphenols for BPA. And they are hoping you won’t pay attention.

These substitute bisphenols include BPAP, BPF, BPS, BPP, BPM and an alphabet-soup of many others. These new bisphenols act just like BPA.

And some are even worse.2

It does the same thing for your retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells. The RPE nourishes your retina. It’s also the first line of defense against age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a major cause of blindness.1

They stay in your body longer and cause more DNA damage.3

These bisphenols leach into your food and drink from plastic water bottles, soup cans and deli packaging. They’re in dental fillings and medical devices. They’re in your eyeglass lenses, DVDs and CDs, household electronics and sports equipment. In pesticides, PVC piping and even garden hoses. Bisphenols are also commonly used in cosmetics, plastic dinnerware and toys. Cash register receipts and currency throughout the world also have high levels.

When these bisphenols get into your bloodstream, they attach to your estrogen receptors whether you’re a man or a woman. They mimic estrogen.

But here’s the big difference…

These chemical hormones are MUCH stronger than the estrogens your body produces naturally. They block natural hormones. They disrupt normal cell signaling. And they destroy your delicate balance of estrogen, testosterone and other hormones.

That leads to real damage in your body. Research links bisphenols to:

• prostate cancer

• high blood pressure

• heart disease

• testicular cancer

• diabetes

• asthma

• breast cancer

• weight gain

• reduced lung function

• lung cancer

• obesity

• behavioral changes

Sadly, you’d have to live in a bubble to eliminate bisphenols from your life.

These chemicals are now literally in the air we breathe. Factories and industrial sites release bisphenols into the air and water. The Centers for Disease Control found bisphenols in the urine of 93% of people they tested. 4

The FDA is no help. It doesn’t want to get on the wrong side of the big industrial interests that are spewing this stuff. Under public pressure it banned BPA from baby bottles and sippy cups. But then it took the position that low-levels of bisphenols are safe. That’s despite the roughly 1,000 studies that found even low levels of these compounds lead to serious health problems.

Most doctors don’t pay attention to the link between bisphenols and many of today’s chronic diseases. But I help my patients stop the build-up of these deadly toxins before they cause chronic disease.

One of the best ways to eliminate dangerous bisphenols is with intravenous (IV) chelation therapy. I offer it to almost every patient I see at the Sears Institute for Anti-Aging Medicine. I inject a nutrient called calcium disodium EDTA into the blood through an IV. In 90 minutes, it grabs onto all toxins and pulls them from your body.

If you’re interested in IV chelation at the Sears Institute for Anti-Aging Medicine, please call my staff at 561-784-7852.

Eliminate Alien Estrogens From Your Body

There are other natural ways you can eliminate fake estrogens from your body. Here are just three you can use at home:

  • Cloves: This spice is a natural antidote to fake estrogens. Cloves have an amazing anti-estrogen nutrient called eugenol. It helps keep your body from absorbing fake estrogens. It stimulates enzymes in your stomach that convert these toxins into harmless water-soluble compounds. Then it flushes them from your body. A good way to supplement with eugenol is by using clove oil. Make sure you buy 100% pure clove oil. Dilute just a tiny bit in almond or olive oil. They will help you absorb it better.

  • Modified citrus pectin: The inner peel of citrus fruits contains one of the most potent detox substances I've found. USDA researchers gave modified citrus pectin to people for six days and measured the amount of toxins excreted in their urine before taking it and 24 hours after. They found it excreted toxins by up to 560%.6 I recommend one teaspoon — 5 grams — daily.

  • DIM (Diindolylmethane): DIM sounds like a nasty chemical but it’s 100% natural. Vegetables like broccoli, kale and cauliflower produce DIM. It helps your body break down and excrete all the fake hormones we get in the modern world. I suggest you take 100 mg to 200 mg of DIM every day as a supplement. But don’t go overboard. Taking more than 300 mg might give you some gastrointestinal distress. If that happens just back off.
